Mineral Negotiation Process Presentation at Olds College

Several of our staff here at LandSolutions LP are proud to be alumni of Olds College. Throughout the year, we partner with Olds College in various educational endeavors in the spirit of giving back to the communities where we live and work.
On Thursday, January 29th our Mineral Land Agent, Todd Humeniuk had the opportunity to present to the 2nd year students of Geoff Jones, instructor of the Land Agent Program on the Mineral Negotiation Process from a Land-brokers perspective. The main focus of Todd’s presentation was a “Start-to-Finish” review of the steps LandSolutions takes when presented with new Mineral Freehold Programs from a client. He also discussed the CAPL lease form templates, types of FH leasing, terms, calculations for compensation and a strong emphasis on the ethics of a Land Agent. The presentation was followed up with a question & answer period, providing for a great discussion with the students.
